Celine Dion has made an emotional return to the stage in Paris, receiving a thunderous welcome from fans at the Plenitude Arena.
The Canadian superstar opened the concert with the French-language song On ne change pas, but was overcome with emotion as the audience repeatedly chanted her name. At one point, Dion stopped singing and allowed the crowd to carry the song, telling fans her tears were tears of joy.
The performance marked a significant return for Dion, whose health struggles have kept her away from regular touring and live performances in recent years.
