Paul Walker’s younger brother Cody says he does not plan to return as a stand-in for the late actor if Brian O’Conner appears in the final Fast & Furious movie.
Cody, who helped complete Paul’s scenes in Furious 7 following his death in 2013, acknowledged that advances in artificial intelligence could now make it possible to recreate the character without his involvement.
However, he believes any decision to bring Brian O’Conner back should ultimately rest with Paul’s daughter, Meadow Walker.
Cody says he is satisfied with the way Brian’s story ended, with the character leaving the action behind to raise his family. Fast Forever, the final instalment in the franchise, is currently planned for release in 2028.
